Professional career
- Before he became a magistrate judge, he was an assistant U.S. attorney for the United States Department of Justice from 1987 to 2009. Judicial career District of Vermont, magistrate Conroy was appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Vermont as a federal magistrate judge on December 22, 2008. Conroy's first eight-year term was due to expire on December 21, 2016, but on August 8, 2016, the district court announced that Judge Conroy had been reappointed to another eight-year term beginning December 21, 2016. Conroy retired in March 2021.
