- Judge Wilkerson began his legal career in 1993 with the St. Louis law firm Thompson Mitchell. He later joined the Stolar Partnership firm. In 1995, he became an assistant U.S. attorney in St. Louis. He held this position until his judicial appointment in 2005. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at the Washington University School of Law since 2000.
