Professional career
- Prior to taking the bench, he worked at the Utah Office of Guardian ad Litem, Utah Legal Services, and as an adjunct assistant professor for the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
Judicial service
- Judge Brent H. Bartholomew was appointed by Governor Gary R. Herbert to the Fourth District Juvenile Court in 2013.
- Judge Bartholomew hears cases in Provo and Heber City and presides over a Family Treatment Court.

Portable Electronic Devices
Utah permits possession and use of portable electronic devices in courthouses unless limited by UCJA Rule 4-401.02 or by directive of the judge.

Recording Photography Transmission
Utah prohibits recording, photographing, or transmitting images or sound of court proceedings with portable electronic devices unless allowed under the electronic-media rule or another stated exception.
